8-String Interior Matched Reciprocal™
This 8-string tuning is a split tuning with descending fourths and
ascending fifths like the interior strings of a 10-string Stick in
Matched Reciprocal™ tuning. This tuning opens up new scale positions
by creating more space between the hands for familiar right-hand
scales, thus enabling a strong new scale position when the hands are
close together. Because the melody strings are a whole step lower than
the
Interior 8-String Classic™ tuning,
the lettered melody notes match in
stacked relationship with the bass on any given fret, descending in 4ths
as the bass ascends in 5ths.
