12-String Matched Reciprocal™
This tuning opens up new scale positions by creating more space between
the hands for familiar right-hand scales, thus enabling a strong new
scale position when the hands are close together. Because the melody
strings are a whole step lower than the
12-String Classic™ 6+6 tuning,
the lettered melody notes match in stacked relationship with the bass on
any given fret, descending in 4ths as the bass ascends in 5ths.
