Full Baritone™
This sonorous tuning, long advocated and practiced by Stick artist Gene Perry, brings melody and bass sides a bit closer together and "in the pocket" for strong and rich timber. The melody side is a 4th lower than
10-String Classic™ tuning (as with Baritone Melody™. The bass is raised a whole step (as with
Raised Matched Reciprocal™). There is thus greater overlap between the string groups with slightly higher bass and chordal range in the left hand,
and stronger, deeper melody in the right hand.
