Unique fully adjustable hardware for the perfect playability

Because the NS/Stick is designed to accomdate all conventional bass and guitar techniques as well as tapping, being able to set the string height just right at the bridge and nut, and having just a slight relief in the neck profile are important. Our custom hardware makes these adjustments easy, and without even having to remove the strings.

Bridge
The NS/Stick bridge incorporates many innovations that make setting up and adjusting the intonation very easy. Caliper-style fine tuners. Sliding saddle blocks that provide quick adjustment of individual string intonation without removing strings from their bridge saddles. Novel side-saddle bridge screws allow precise string height adjustment without removing the string. The string spacing at the bridge is increased to allow easy finerpicking and plucking.

Nut
Instead of a conventional nut, the strings pass through unique "side-saddle" screws, allowing precise individual adjustment without removing the string.

Truss Nut
Keeping the neck straight is easy with our flush-to-the-rear truss rod as on The Stick, exposed at the flat rear neck surface for quick and convenient adjustment and for the most reliable counter-tension to the pull of the strings.

Retractable Damper
The NS/Stick is a true multi-mode instrument. Our patented (view patent) retactable damper keeps the notes from ringing when you're tapping and can be quickly retracted, allowing open string guitar chords and bass notes, and also allowing the player to take full advantage of the instrument's 34"-scale.
