Museum of Popular Music Celebrates Emmett Chapman and the Chapman Stick
The Mupop, located in Montluçon (France) is a very nice museum dedicated to popular music. It will host the premiere of an exhibition dedicated to the Stick and his inventor, Emmett Chapman.
The exhibition has been produced by the AFSTG, written by Bruno Ricard and designed by Nicolas Bocquel (a long-time collaborator of french Stick veteran Youenn Landreau) and Bruno Ricard.
The exhibition will last 3 weeks, from the 15th of April to the 4th of May. Some events will take place spanned over those three weeks, all taking place at the Mupop at 3:30 pm.
- 04/18/25 : one hour performance mixing lecture and music by Bruno Ricard
- 04/19/25 : concert from Krepyskyl (Bruno Ricard on Stick & Nils Oswald on drums)
- 04/26/25 : concert from Alain Pennec (accordion) / Youenn Landreau (stick) duo on the 26th of April
- 05/03/25 : concert from “Across the Beatles” (Olivier Chabasse on Stick & Yann Violon on drums)
