Argentine Stick artist Sebastian Woscoboinik adds his first album to
our offering of Stick featured CDs. Entitled "Between Sleep and
Wakefulness" and produced in his home studio "Liquid Sky", this album
takes a relaxed and graceful direction, with Stick loops and abstract
sonic landscapes reminiscent of Marco Cerletti's pioneering CD,
"Random and Providence".
All music here is composed while improvising on Grand Stick. In production, the album is beautifully knitted together with a variety of Stick voices, both straight and heavily processed. These are combined with keyboard synth and tasty electronic percussion to create flowing "Stick scapes" and kaleidoscopic rhythm patterns.
